provides children with a safe, after-school environment where they can partake in academic, extracurricular and character workshops, in order to provide these children the best opportunities for their futures. The Boys & Girls Clubs break down their programming into five categories: character/leadership, education/career, health/life skills, the arts, and sports/fitness education. These programs not only help keep kids busy and safe after school but provides them with tools to help with personal and professional development.
(HSF) is designed to assist students of Hispanic heritage in obtaining a college education. One out of five children that are born in the USA today are of Hispanic origin, and only a hand full of Fortune 500 Companies have a Hispanic on their board of directors. This inconsistency evidences itself by many other standards as well. I believe higher education is of great importance in improving this situation. Many very well-qualified and deserving Hispanic students are unable to get higher education due to a lack of funding.

believes in the idea that all girls are valuable and deserve to be educated. The Malala Fund promotes the education of girls through building schools and supporting community-based organizations that are committed to enrolling girls in local education, and promoting equal access to education through social and cultural change. Social change and the mandate to educate girls happens at the community level, which is why Malala partners with existing organizations to build schools and go door-to-door, tent to tent, refugee camp to camp, to get girls enrolled in school. Malala Fund advocates for 12 years of education in order to be competitive in the global market. The Malala Fund goes into the hardest-hit areas (Syria, areas infiltrated by Boko Haram, areas ravaged by ebola) and works with local organizations to provide girls access to education.
